ANsible and Buildah can create your container Images

Ansible is so awesome, you can use it to perform so many different tasks. In our case, it would be building a container image. We will create an Ansible playbook which will serve as a definition of our image and then utilize buildah to do the heavy lifting. Buildah is a standalone tool which creates container images — no daemons will be involved: only Ansible, Buildah, and runc. Interested? We have developed a dedicated tool available at github.com/ansible-community/ansible-bender which manages the complete build process.

The expected audience is DevOps engineers who work with containerized applications.
