DITCHING THE DOCKERFILE: ANSIBLE ROLES AS CONTAINERS

When your team has spent all that time building Ansible roles and playbooks to automate your IT infrastructure, the last thing you want to do is throw it away. However, most container platforms build container images using Dockerfile - more or less just a shell script. And for hybrid ecosystems, when your organization is migrating to containers over time, or where your developer environment is containerized but your production isn't, you really don't want to maintain two different build systems. In this talk, you'll learn how to use Ansible Container to repurpose your existing Ansible content to build your container images, and then to easily orchestrate and deploy them to production Kubernetes and OpenShift.
